By accessing or using SQE1 Prep at test.sqe1prep.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

SQE1 Prep is an online platform providing multiple-choice question (MCQ) practice drills for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination Part 1 (SQE1). The service includes timed drills, performance analytics, AI-powered explanations, and progress tracking to support your exam preparation.

3. Account Registration

To use SQE1 Prep, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Pricing and Subscriptions

SQE1 Prep offers the following tiers:

• Free tier — 10 MCQs included at no cost, with access to all subjects.
• Monthly subscription — Unlimited drills for £5 per month.
• Annual subscription — Unlimited drills for £50 per year (saving £10).

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed in GBP and inclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Billing page. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. After the period ends, your account will revert to the free tier.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on SQE1 Prep, including but not limited to questions, explanations, analytics features, branding, logos, and design elements, is the property of SQE1 Prep (operated by SoftNext Solutions) or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not, without our prior written consent:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from the platform
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Use our branding or trademarks

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The MCQ questions, explanations, and tutor responses on SQE1 Prep are generated using artificial intelligence (Azure OpenAI). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. SQE1 Prep is a supplementary study tool and should not be relied upon as the sole source of preparation for the SQE1 examination.

We strongly recommend cross-referencing answers with authoritative legal texts and consulting qualified legal educators. SQE1 Prep accepts no liability for any loss resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract content from the platform
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SQE1 Prep and SoftNext Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
